You can also use a written planner (copies are on the door).
You have the rest of the class to draft. Do not stress, just be honest and write what comes to mind. You will given credit for the assignment so long as you "give me something." We will continue to work on this through the week as a reminder of the writing process.
This About Me paragraph should include things like:
What is one way you feel you are different/have changed compared to the beginning of last year?
What school subjects are your favorite? What hobbies/activities do you enjoy? What has changed?
What particular skills, talents, and knowledge do you have or are proud of? What have you improved on?
What do you like learning about? What do you not like learning about?
How big is your family, and do you have any siblings? Do you like them? ;)
What are your favorite foods, TV shows, movies, games, color, etc.? What has changed?
Anything else you'd like Ms. Tucker to know about you?
ADD:
1 way you feel you've changed or a way you responded to something that changed over summer or in the last couple of year (how did you respond)? Consider how you will explain the beginning, middle, and end of the story (explain the setting, people, problem, your response/solution, reflection on that response/solution).

The Revising & Editing Checklist
Focus on the Language and Grammar sections, and the back page with the copy editing symbols.
Ms. Tucker will demo what an active editing process might look like.
The Writing Process: Today's Focus...
Review: What Is the Writing Process?
Review: Revising and Editing Techniques
Review: What Is a Rubric?
Pull out your "About Me" you worked on yesterday.
Re-read it and make any changes directly on your paper. Do not erase. Instead, scratch off, use characters like the ^ to insert something you want. Reference the Revising & Editing Checklist.
Continue drafting. Be sure to include details about the new addition:
1 way you feel you've changed or a way you responded to something that changed over summer or in the last couple of year (how did you respond?)
The Red Pen: Print out and pass your document around for peer review to at least three people.
Type it: Using this Google Classroom assignment, revise your About Me and submit.
